1. Retain the battery in its original packaging prior to use, ensuring storage aligns with regulatory guidelines.
2. Avoid clustering batteries together to prevent accidental short circuits.
3. Refrain from exposing batteries to temperatures exceeding 100 ºC or setting them ablaze.
4. Under no circumstances should disposable lithium batteries be charged, forcibly discharged, compressed, or punctured.
5. Eschew direct soldering on battery surfaces; instead, employ batteries equipped with pre-installed solder legs or leads.
6. Never mix new and used batteries, nor combine those from disparate sources.
7. Avert short circuits by preventing connection between positive and negative terminals, and abstain from battery disassembly or reversal of terminal connections.
8. Never transport or operate batteries through aggressive means such as throwing or hurling.
9. Protect batteries from exposure to unguarded, damp, or corrosive environments.
10. For standalone lithium-ion batteries, rigorously adhere to storage environment specifications, with mandatory charging every six months.
